2011 Foundation Trophy

"It ended on the 22nd hole."

In a hard fought match our President, Robert Mallinson and Martin Hand - Club Vice Captain from Elland Golf Club won with a Par on the difficult 4th. All competitors agreed that it had been a closely fought match which could have gone either way at varying stages of the game. The Runners up were last years Champions - Clive Richards & Dave Fisher from Hebden Bridge Golf Club. The match was played at West End on Sunday 2nd @ 11.30am in reasonable conditions. Considering the hot weather of the few days previous, perhaps it was a relief to have the cloud cover and a few light showers.

I am sure that all our congratulations go the Winners, with commiserations to the Runners Up.

The presentation will take place at the Annual Dinner Dance, to be held at

West End Golf Club on Saturday 12th November 2011
