ANNUAL DINNER DANCE
&
PRIZE PRESENTATION.

The Annual Dinner, Dance & Prize Presentation of the Association was held at West End Golf Club on Saturday 12th November 2011. It was attended by only 51 Members including their Wives/ Partners, however everyone enjoyed themselves, dancing the night away to an excellent Disc Jockey. The President Robert Mallinson, took the honours winning both the Foundation Trophy along with his partner from Elland - Vice Captain, Martin Hand. The Runners Up were last year Winners Clive Richards and Dave Fisher from Hebden Bridge. The Final was a hard fought match ending on the 22nd hole, with victory going to Robert & Martin. I am sure our congratulations go to them, with our commiserations going to the Hebden Bridge players.

Mr. President also won the individual President 's Prize, also know as the "Order of Merit," with overall victory going to him with success over the three matches played at Elland, West End & Malton & Norton Golf Clubs. This follows his success in 2010 when as Vice President he won the same prize.

Unfortunately with such a low turnout attending the Dinner, it has been decided to discuss the future of this event during the A.G.M. which will be held at Ryburn Golf Club in March. (details later) All your views will be of interest and we hope to see as many Members of the Association there as is possible.
